If you have not logged on your FTDNA (Family Tree DNA) account in a while, please do so and make sure your contact information (ESPECIALLY YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS) is up-to-date. If your email address is no longer valid, matching participants will not be able to reach you. If you have lost your password or log-in information for your FTDNA account, send an email with your KIT Number to firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for your log-in info.
There are 630 HILL participants at Family Tree DNA! The goal of the HILL DNA PROJECT website (the website you are viewing now) is to accurately group and display the results in a way that makes it easy for you to connect with other participants who share your ancestry as matched via DNA. Thank you for joining one of the first and largest DNA projects at FTDNA.
If you are expecting results sufficient enough for being connected with one of our DNA Groups, PLEASE DO NOT order the 12 Marker or 25 Marker test. We no longer group testing results less than 37 Markers.
Starting May 11, 2013, new Y-DNA test participants who test less than 37 markers will no longer be Grouped here. Participants who have already tested less than 37 markers with results that came in prior to May 11, 2013, will remain posted and Grouped accordingly, but we urge you to upgrade to at least 37 markers at your earliest convenience. 12 marker and 25 marker results are too inconclusive for the purpose of Grouping with others on this site, for it is our desire to keep the integrity of our matched Groups to the highest level possible.
A big THANK YOU goes out to the following donors who have made contributions for the cost of rebuilding the website:

An email notice was sent today to the contacts on the Sponsorship page, and a number of the emails bounced. Those sponsorship postings have been removed. We need to know if the remaining Sponsorship requests and offers should remain active, be updated, or be deleted. Thank you.
